The capture of biometric data creates a delicate balance between privacy and efficiency. Recently, with the advent of COVID-19, it has become increasingly apparent that the use and collection of personal identifiable information is not clearly regulated. This program will discuss the current (and pending) measures in place to address these privacy concerns, as well as recent trends in litigation. In addition, it will offer some “best practices” for reducing potential liability in this new COVID -19 world.
