Thomas R. Waskom is a litigation partner in the Richmond office of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP. Tom’s practice focuses on class actions, product liability and mass torts, with a particular emphasis on retail and consumer products. He helps his clients develop novel solutions to their most significant litigation challenges. He also advises his clients on regulatory issues that affect their business, providing risk mitigation strategies to avoid litigation where possible. In his practice, Tom works closely with a wide array of experts, including engineers, economists, toxicologists, and industrial hygienists. He has won dispositive Daubert-type motions in class actions and mass torts in state and federal courts across the country. Tom earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College. He is admitted to the bars of New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia, and numerous federal courts.
